From ESMA 2011 in Toulouse here’s “Little Tombstone”, a bit of a western to feast your eyes and ears on with a cracking style.
I like the obvious nods here and there but all in all it’s a mighty fine thing to look at.

Mac ‘n’ Cheese by Mac ‘n’ Cheese
Inspired by Team Fortress 2 and Meet Buck, four animation students from the Utrecht School of Arts in the Netherlands took about five months to make this and “about a bajillion peanut butter sandwiches.”
I need to start eating more peanut butter sandwiches.

The Adventures of DBAD (Don’t Be A Dick)
DBAD is fed up. DBAD is frustrated. Fed up and frustrated with the masses. Everywhere he looks someone is being a dick. An overly amorous couple are two items of clothing away from making this performance a live sex show while an old lady is stuck waiting at the same bus stop. The number 57 can’t arrive quick enough to take her away from this oh-so-romantic venue.
Glass smashes outside a nearby bar followed by the recognisable but always incoherent chorus of football chants. Unsurprisingly none of the owners of such classically-trained voices are wearing the colours of any of their local teams.
An adolescent brags of his recreational drug-use while maintaining his fashionable haircut by means of whiplash.
DBAD doesn’t mean to hate everyone. They just make it so easy.

I remember posting this a few months back, but I recently found a more complete version. It’s about twice as long as the one I posted originally.
I can’t get over how much I love this scene.
I think I’ve found a new favourite blog XD.
The joy of pencil tests reminds me once again just how amazing it is that such an exciting performance can come from pieces of paper, a bunch of lines and a voice.
Saw this on CartoonBrew the other day and love the “Which pencil did he use?” line. Lasseter knows his stuff
